TC Arts and Humanities Career Development Program For Doctoral Students AY 2015-2016 Schedule

22 Sep

The Career Development Program (CDP) for A&H Doctoral Students and Departmental Fellows began last year and given the overwhelmingly positive feedback, we have decided to continue! The CDP is an opportunity for doctoral students to learn from colleagues and faculty about the transition from being a doctoral student into a career. The A&H Career Development Program will harness untapped collective wisdom among faculty and doctoral students to support your growth as a scholar/practitioner.

A committee of faculty have developed some topics as foci though the sessions will likely lead to wide ranging conversations about your career paths. It is required that you RSVP to each session you wish to attend. The focus for our AY15-16 sessions will be:

Each of these 2-hour sessions will involve a small panel of faculty from the Department sharing insights about the focus while encouraging a wide-ranging dialog among students. We envision this as being a commons area in the Department, a space for us to come together and share insights about this very important dimension of your doctoral preparation.
