Eiko Ishizuka is a faculty member in the Dalcroze program at the Longy School of Music of Bard College in Cambridge MA. Since 2004 she has taught Eurhythmics, Dalcroze Solfège, improvisation and plastique animée for the Dalcroze certificate candidates and the graduate students. Her musical and unique teaching styles have been an inspiration to her students in the States and abroad. Ms. Ishizuka has been teaching Dalcroze Eurhythmics since 1993 and has given workshops in Japan and the United States for classical musicians, early childhood teachers, and music therapists. She led workshops at The Waldorf School in Lexington, Winchester Community Music School and at the Bridgewater College, MA. She has been invited by Dalcroze International Congress in Switzerland,Dalcroze Society of Canada, Dalcroze Society of America, Minghsin University of Science and Technology in Taiwan.

Ms. Ishizuka has performed as a pianist and collaborative pianist in Japan, Israel, Canada, Switzerland, and the United States with a broad repertoire of classical and theather music. She earned her Bachelor of Music degree from Kunitachi College of Music, Japan and her Certificate and License in Dalcroze Eurhythmic from the Longy School of Music. Ms. Ishizuka is a candidate of Dalcroze Diplôme Supérieur.

All regular workshops are $15 for members of the Dalcroze Society of America, $35 for non-members. Student rates are $5 for members of the DSA, $15 for non-members. Please show a valid Student ID.
